July 7, 2012, This meeting is being held at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church in room 404. The meeting will begin at 2:00 PM. Julie Fear will be teaching the kumihimo cording method. The finished cording can be added in various ways to your gourd projects. Julie has been working on the cording, creating various color combinations. There will be a small charge for this project since the kumihimo loom and weight will need to be purchased in advance. In mid-June, a notice will be sent out asking for those who wish to participate to register and pay for the sup-plies. If you have never seen the kumihimo cording, you will be pleasantly surprised by the ways in which colors and textures can be utilized.
